Alberto Rodríguez Rodríguez started his musical studies when he was five years old. At the age of eight, he was admitted at the Conservatory of Music of his home town, Salamanca, where he studied with José Antonio Caballero.

In 2014 he was accepted at Conservatorium van Amsterdam where he studied with Nick Woud, Mark Braafhart, Bence Major, Tomohiro Ando, Richard Jansen, Arnold Marinissen, Rachel Xi Zhang and Ramon Lormans.

In 2013, Alberto won the scholarship Ruta Quetzal that brought him to perform in the Rainforest of Darién (Panama) on the occasion of the fifth centenary of the discovery of the Pacific Ocean and tour around Panama, Spain, France and Belgium.

Since his first concert at the age of twelve with the Youth Orchestra of Castilla y León (JOSCyL), Alberto has regularly performed an extra percussionist in orchestras such as the Basque Country National Orchestra, de Baltic Sea Philharmonic, het Antwerp Symphony Orchestra en Het Balletorkest.
