Alessandro Di Giacomo was born in Salerno in a family of violinists. At the age of four, he took up the instrument himself. At fifteen he graduated from the Avellino conservatoire with honours. He continued his studies with Stegano Pagliani until his enrolment at the Conservatorio della Svizzera Italiana in Lugano in 2018, completing his master’s degree with honors under the guidance of Alessandro Moccia, with whom he is now pursuing a master’s degree in specialized music performance.

Di Giacomo participated in masterclasses by musicians such as Christian Anzinger, Salvatore Quaranta, Mauro Tortorelli, Marco Fiorini, Simon Bernardini, Christophe Horák, Sherry Kloss, and Shlomo Mintz, and participated in summer courses organized by the Tibor Varga Music Academy with Francesco De Angelis.

In 2017, Di Giacomo joined La Verdi in Milan. He also worked with the Orchestra del Teatro alla Scala and played with the Orchestra della Svizzera Italiana and other orchestras. In January 2020 he became a member of the RAI National Symphony Orchestra.
