Honorary conductor Bernard Haitink conducts concerts at the Robeco SummerNights Series and the Lucerne Festival. These concerts were originally scheduled with Daniele Gatti. The orchestra ended its collaboration with chief conductor Gatti on 2 August.

The concerts on 29 August (Robeco SummerNights Series at the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam) and 6 September in Lucerne (Lucerne Festival) will be taken over by the orchestra’s honorary conductor Bernard Haitink. The programme has been changed to Mahler’s Symphony No. 9.
