Concerts cancelled until 25 December

09 December 2020

The current measures will be maintained for now, therefore the Concertgebouworkest has had to cancel all concerts for an audience, yet we will stream new concerts!

Yesterday, the Dutch government announced that the partial lockdown will be prolonged, even during the festive season. This means no more than 30 people may gather indoors. Much to our regret, we have thus decided to cancel all concerts with an audience up to and including 25 December.

Time and again, the covid 19 measures have an enormous impact on the Concertgebouworkest. It is not clear at this point when we can play for you again. In the meantime, it is very important for the orchestra to keep playing together, in order to keep the quality of our music at the highest level. That is why we make every effort to stream our programmes. We hope to see you in good health at our concerts as soon as possible.

Streaming schedule

Friday 11 December, 8.00 p.m. CET, we will broadcast a livestream of the programme lead by Iván Fische and with soprano Miah Persson. The livestream will start with an introduction by Dominic Seldis and will continue with the actual programme on 8.15 p.m. CET.

We invite you to joing the livestream via the link below, where you are asked to sign up using your account.
