Family concerts

The Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra is giving two very different family concerts for children about six years and older and their parents or grandparents. In October, the young conductor Joshua Weilerstein is taking the orchestra on a mysterious ‘Journey through the Night’ with excerpts from Mahler’s Seventh Symphony. And in June, the orchestra’s chief conductor Daniele Gatti will be leading the orchestra in colourful music by Ravel, Stravinsky and Tchaikovsky, complete with an assortment of weird and wonderful characters strutting down a ‘Musical Catwalk’.

Step into the exciting and wonderful world of classical music with your children or grandchildren.
