The French harpist Lauriane Chenais is active as an orchestral player, chamber musician and soloist, her repertoire ranging from the classical to the contemporary. After completing her Master’s degree at the Paris Conservatoire with Isabelle Moretti, in 2017 she entered the Conservatoire’s Artist Diploma Programme specialising in contemporary repertoire and creation.
A prize winner at the Leopold Bellan Competition and the French Zonta Club Competition, she has performed at prestigious summer festivals such as the Aspen Music Festival, the Lucerne Festival Academy and the Pacific Music Festival, as well as with the Orchestre Français des Jeunes and the Gustav Mahler Jugendorchester.
She performs regularly with the major French orchestras (Orchestre de Paris, Orchestre National de Lyon, Orchestre Philharmonique de Nice, and Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France) and ensembles (Ensemble intercontemporain and Les Dissonances). In July 2018, she performed at the Messiaen Festival.
