Son Lux is the stage name of Ryan Lott, a classically trained musician born in Denver, Colorado, known for his suspenseful, layered electronic pop songs. As he describes it: 'I play studio more than any other instrument'.

Working as a trio with Ian Chang on drums and Rafiq Bhatia on guitar, Son Lux released his fourth album, Bones on June 23, 2015. As a live trio, Son Lux have been touring the United States and Europe with an impressive show, recently appearing at the Cross-linx festival, a cross-over music festival taking place in four cities throughout the Netherlands.

Ryan Lott has written music for commercials and for several films, including The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby (Ned Benson, 2013) and Paper Towns (Jake Schreier, 2015).

Together with Sufjan Stevens and rapper Serengeti he forms a trio, Sisyphus. He also worked with Lorde Beyoncé producer Boots, Richard Parry (Arcade Fire), Peter Silberman (The Antlers), the Young People’s Chorus of New York City, the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra and fine artist Jim Hodges.
