The book 'Iconic – How to Create a Virtuous Circle of Success' focuses on fourteen iconic organisations, including the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, which have managed to stay at the top of their game for half a century, a century or longer.
This week sees the release of Iconic – How to Create a Virtuous Circle of Success. The book was presented yesterday in Lucerne, where the orchestra has given two concerts over the last few days. The very first copy was bestowed on Daniele Gatti, chief conductor of the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra by Xavier Bekaert. Jan Raes, managing director of the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, co-wrote the book with management consultants Xavier Bekaert, Gillis Jonk and Phebo Wibbens. The preface was penned by Tom de Swaan, chairman of the Zurich Insurance Group.
The book focuses on fourteen iconic organisations, including the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, which have managed to stay at the top of their game for half a century, a century or longer. The book is the translation of a slightly revised version of Toonaangevend, published by Lannoo in 2013.
