The Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra’s new video platform

The Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra is making a large number of high-quality concert recordings, relevant interviews and mini-documentairies from recent years available on its website. Now anyone anywhere in the world can access the recordings free at The video platform is compatible with computers, tablets and mobile phones regardless of operating system.

These video productions were recorded in recent years by the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra itself. With the launch of the video platform, a new registration will immediately be made available: Ottorino Respighi's Fontane di Roma, as performed during RCO Opening Night 2016. New concert recordings will be added regularly.

Users who register on the website can view, pause and resume recordings, share them on social media and create favourites lists.

Since it is now making video recordings available on its website, the orchestra will no longer be producing new RCO Edition releases. The RCO Editions app will be discontinued at the beginning of 2018.
