What to expect?

A visit to one of our concerts is always a special evening or afternoon out. Here is what you can expect during your visit.

Pre-concert Welcome

The doors to the hall open forty minutes before the concert begins. You can relax and get a drink in one of the stylish foyers.

Free refreshments

Drinks before the concert and during the intermission are included in the ticket price.

Dress code

For most concerts, we don't have a specific dress code; please wear whatever you feel comfortable in.

Programme

Typically, our programmes feature three to four works, each consisting of multiple parts. Ticket buyers receive detailed information in an email prior to the concert.

Intermission

Almost all of our concerts have an intermission of approximately 15-20 minutes.

Raphaël Pichon makes his Concertgebouw Orchestra debut with 'The Domain of the Gods', a musical narrative in three parts based on music by Rameau, Gluck and Rebel, featuring soprano Julie Roset and baritone Stéphane Degout.
