Celia Llácer began her conducting studies with Maestro Borja Quintas and earned her master’s degree from the Zurich University of the Arts, where she studied with Christoph-Mathias Mueller and Johannes Schlaefli. She has further developed her craft through masterclasses with such conductors as Jaap van Zweden, Emmanuel Villaume, Karel Mark Chichon, James Lowe, Jordi Francés or Bruno Aprea.
In the 2024-25 season, Llácer serves as chief conductor of the Junges Kammerorchester Ostschweiz. She has worked as assistant conductor with both the Schweizer Jugend-Sinfonie-Orchester and the Orchestre Philharmonique Royal de Liège, collaborating with Maestro Gergely Madaras during the 2023-24 season.
As a participant in the 2024 edition of the Gstaad Conducting Academy, she conductied the Gstaad Festival Orchestra. In 2023, she was selected for the Linda and Mitch Hart Institute at The Dallas Opera and made her debut at the Tanglewood Festival. She has debuted with orchestras as the Castilla y León Symphony Orchestra, Dallas Opera, Göttinger Symphonieorchester, Orquesta Sinfónica del Principado de Asturias, Janáček Philharmonic Orchestra, Real Filharmonía de Galicia, Hradec Králové Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Philharmonie Konstanz.
Previously, she served as principal conductor of the JOECOM youth orchestra in Madrid (2019-22), and as assistant conductor with the Philharmonic Orchestra of Gran Canaria and the youth orchestra of Córdoba.
