Yin began to gain international recognition after winning the Grzegorz Fitelberg International Competition for Conductors in 2023. Since then, his engagements have included debuts with the NFM Wrocław Philharmonic, Poznań Philharmonic, Silesian Philharmonic and Polish Baltic Philharmonic orchestras, followed by immediate reinvitations. The 2025-26 season saw his debuts at the Ludwig van Beethoven Easter Festival in Warsaw and with the Sinfonia Varsovia, Sinfonietta Cracovia and the Zagreb Philharmonic.

Jong-Jie Yin regularly appears with the China Philharmonic, Shanghai Symphony Orchestra, NCPA Orchestra and Hangzhou Philharmonic. Since September 2023, he has been assistant conductor of the China National Symphony Orchestra. 

In recent seasons, Yin has expanded his repertoire with a performance of Mahler’s Symphony No. 4 for his debut with the Łódź Philharmonic Orchestra, and led the Xiamen Philharmonic Orchestra in Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9. He made his opera debut with performances of Mozart’s La clemenza di Tito at Baltic Opera Gdańsk.

Previously, Yin received a Mention spéciale (Grand Prize vacant) at the 2021 Besançon International Competition for Young Conductors. He continues his studies at the Hochschule für Musik Berlin under the mentorship of Markus Stenz.
