Ulysse recently made his debut with the Karlovy Vary Orchestra at the Rudolfinum in Prague to great critical acclaim. He was a finalist of the Almería Conducting Competition and a semifinalist of the Khachaturian Conducting Competition. He has served as assistant conductor for Fabien Gabel with the Malmö Symphony Orchestra, and for Tan Dun with the Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France. He was a Conducting Fellow at the 2024 Aspen Music Festival and participant of the 2025 Järvi Conducting Academy. He has recently worked with the State Symphony Orchestras of Armenia and Lithuania, the Pärnu City Orchestra, Athens Philharmonia Orchestra, and the Beijing Central Conservatory Orchestra.

Born in Paris, Ulysse trained at the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional de Paris with Clément Saunier and at the Bard College Conservatory of Music with Edward Carroll and James Bagwell, completing bachelor degrees in trumpet and economics. In 2026, he will start his master of conducting at The Juilliard School under David Robertson as a recipient of the Kovner Fellowship.
