Aina Hujić Mor is a Catalan violist. She recently completed her master’s degree at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, where she studied under Sven Arne Tepl and Frederik Boits. Prior to this, she earned her bachelor’s degree in violin at the Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya in Barcelona, studying with Kai Gleusteen, while also receiving viola instruction from Ashan Pillai and chamber music coaching from Cuarteto Casals and Kennedy Moretti.
Aina’s orchestral experience includes performances with the Netherlands Philharmonic, Barcelona’s Orquestra del Gran Teatre del Liceu, and the Mahler Chamber Orchestra, where she participated in the MCO Academy in 2024. She was also a member of the European Union Youth Orchestra. Her international engagements have taken her to the Zermatt Festival and Academy, the Stauffer Academy in Cremona, and the International Musicians Seminar in Prussia Cove, England, where she received masterclasses from Thomas Riebl.
As an avid chamber musician, Aina recently formed a harp, flute, and viola trio, as well as a string quartet, and participated in two Catalan chamber music festivals, DeltaChamber and Pòdium Matadepera.
Aina Hujić Mor plays a Marten Cornelissen viola (2007, Northampton) and an Emmanuel Begin bow (2019, Montreal), both generously loaned by the Netherlands Musical Instrument Foundation.
