Anna Sanchis Llorens began her violin studies with Victoria Lorente at the conservatoire of Valencia, where she was awarded the Prize for Excellence in both violin and chamber music studies. She continued her studies at the Catalonia College of Music (ESMUC) under the tutelage of Yuri Volguin, receiving historical performance lessons by Alba Roca. She pursued her master’s degree with Anke Dill at the State University of Music and Performing Arts Stuttgart.
As a member of the Vivancos Quartet for four years, Anna received coaching from the Casals Quartet and Kennedy Moretti. The quartet won first prize at the International Cambra Romànica Competition in Andorra and represented ESMUC at the International Pau Casals Festival in Prades.
Anna Sanchis has played with the Spanish National Youth Orchestra (JONDE), the Camerata del Cuarteto Casals, and the Catalonian National Youth Orchestra (JONC), and gained further orchestral experience as a member of the European Union Youth Orchestra and in the Chamber Orchestra of Europe Academy. She has served as concertmaster of the Valencia Youth Orchestra and made her solo debut with them at the Palau de les Arts.
In addition, she has worked with the National Orchestra of Spain, the orchestra of the Gran Teatre del Liceu in Barcelona, and the Budapest Festival Orchestra under the baton of Iván Fischer. From 2023 to 2025, Anna was a tutti violinist in the Opera Orchestra of Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía in Madrid.
