Giulia Cellacchi studied violin with Marco Rizzi at the Escuela Superior de Música Reina Sofía in Madrid and with Salvatore Accardo at the Stauffer Academy in Cremona.
Prior to that, the Italian violinist pursued her bachelor’s degree at the State Conservatory in Latina, and finished her master studies under the guidance of Marco Rizzi at the Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst in Mannheim in 2025.
As a soloist, she performed with ensembles such as Kurpfälzisches Kammerorchester, I Solisti Veneti, I Virtuosi Italiani and the Perugia Chamber Orchestra as a winner of competitions such as the Scimone Competition in Padua, the Gewa Young Contest and the Marin Competition in Pinerolo, where she received the special prize for her interpretation of Bach’s music.
Giulia has performed at numerous important Italian festivals. In 2024 and 2025, she took part in the Stelle della Danza show in Arezzo and Just a Game in Mannheim, performing alongside the principal dancers of London’s Royal Ballet, the Rome Opera House, and the Nationaltheater Mannheim.
She regularly performs with orchestras including the Deutsche Staatsphilharmonie Rheinland-Pfalz, Mannheimer Philharmoniker, and the Kammerphilharmonie Mannheim.
Giulia Cellacchi plays a violin built in Naples by Raffaele & Antonio Gagliano in the first half of the nineteenth century, kindly on loan from Alfredo Clemente.
