In 2024, Ida was an Erasmus+ student at the HMDK Stuttgart with Conradin Brotbek. In April 2026 she began her master studies with Troels Svane at the University of Music Lübeck.

She performed as a soloist with the Stella Symphony Orchestra, the symphony orchestras of both Sanremo and Grosseto in Italy, and the University Orchestra Flensburg.

Ida was a prize winner in several competitions, including the 2025 Milan International Cello Competition. As a result of her successes in competitions, she performed in New York’s Carnegie Hall and gave several concerts that were broadcast live in Austria. After winning the Hans Schaeuble Award in 2023 she performed at the Arosa Klassik Festival in Switzerland.

In 2022 Ida was selected as solo cellist for the Vienna Symphony Orchestra’s academy and the Bregenzer Festspiele and in 2023 played as a substitute in the Vorarlberg Symphony Orchestra. She regularly performs in chamber music ensembles alongside musicians such as Sophie Heinrich, Sara Kim, Markus Fleck and Mathias Johansen.

Ida plays a cello named Ida, which was made especially for her in 2014 and which she actively participated in building under the guidance of Antonio Menzel.
