From an early age, Joshua played with the Fancy Fiddlers string ensemble, performing both at home and abroad. These days, he can regularly be heard both as a soloist and in various chamber music ensembles. With Quatuor Demian and with Trio Animi, for instance, he performed at the Opéra de Lyon, in the Auditorium National de Lyon and at the Festival Démesurés.

He has won several prizes, including the Davina van Wely Prize during the 2022 Dutch Violin Competition, where he also won the prize for the best performance of a contemporary work (Riffs by Joey Roukens).

Joshua has been a member of, amongst others, the Gustav Mahler Youth Orchestra and the Verbier Festival Orchestra.

Since 2024, he has been playing a violin made by Riccardo Antoniazzi, on loan from the Netherlands Musical Instrument Foundation.
