The Polish violinist has gained extensive orchestral experience as a member of the Oxford Philharmonic and during performances with leading ensembles in the United Kingdom, including trials with the BBC National Orchestra of Wales (as associate leader), the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra and Hallé Orchestra.  

In addition, Mira has performed with orchestras such as the Chamber Orchestra of Europe, Sinfonia of London, the London Mozart Players, the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra and BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra, and has appeared as leader with the Barbican Sinfonia and St James’s Chamber Orchestra. 

Mira Marton has received awards in the UK and internationally, including Poland’s Minister of Culture and National Heritage Prize, the Royal College of Music Violin Prize, and the Munster Trust Award.
