Pablo Díaz Díaz began his clarinet studies with Javier Huertas at the music school of Collado Villalba, near Madrid, and continued his studies with Josep Arnau in San Lorenzo de El Escorial. In 2021 he was admitted to the Escuela Superior de Música Reina Sofia to study with Pascal Moraguès, Enrique Pérez and Carlos García, and in 2024 received the diploma for most outstanding student.
Pablo was a prizewinner at various competitions, including Ciudad de Xátiva, Intercentros Melomano, the Giuseppe Mancini Chamber Music Competition and the Xacobeo International Clarinet Competition.
He was a member of the Gustav Mahler Youth Orchestra, the Verbier Festival Junior Orchestra, the National Youth Orchestra of Spain (JONDE), and the youth orchestras of Madrid (JORCAM) and Catalonia (JONC).
In addition, he collaborated with the Orquesta Sinfónica de Madrid, RTVE Symphony Orchestra, Orquesta Sinfónica de Galicia and the Orquesta Sinfónica del Gran Teatro del Liceu.
Pablo received masterclasses from such musicians as Yehuda Gilad, Vicente Alberola, François Benda, José Luis Estellés, Arno Piters, Davide Lattuada, Pablo Barragán, and Darío Mariño.
The clarinetist has participated in festivals such as the Verbier Festival, the Salzburg Festival, the Bolzano Bozen Festival, Young Euro Classic, and the Rheingau Musik Festival.
