Born in Manerbio (Brescia), Pietro Bodini began playing and studying the oboe in the local civic band, S. Cecilia di Manerbio. He continued his musical education at the Music High School of Brescia, where he solidified his technical and musical foundations.

In 2019, he won the third prize ex aequo at the Luca Figaroli International Competition for Young Oboists in Adrara San Martino.

After graduating in 2020, he was admitted to the Conservatory of Italian Switzerland, where he studied with Fabien Thouand and obtained his bachelor’s degree. He went on to pursue a master’s degree at the University of Music (HEMU) in Lausanne, studying with Fabien Thouand, Nora Cismondi, and Clément Noël. He has participated in masterclasses with Stefan Schilli, Emma Schied, Hélène Devilleneuve, David Walter, Carlo Romano, and Francesco Di Rosa, and has also received instruction from Omar Zoboli, Christian Schmitt, and Jean-Louis Capezzali.

Pietro has performed with orchestras such as the Accademia Teatro alla Scala, the Schweizer Jugend-Sinfonie-Orchester, the Orchestre de Chambre de Lausanne, the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia (as part of the Festival dei Due Mondi in Spoleto), and the Teatro Regio in Turin.
