On Thursday 21 August, we left for Salzburg for the kickoff of our European summer tour. The next day, we gave a concert in Cologne, and on Saturday, we continued on to Londonfor two performances in the legendary Royal Albert Hall as part of the BBC Proms.

Since 2022 the Concertgebouw Orchestra has a new global partner: Booking.com. The Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer of the well-known digital travel company, Arjan Dijk, tells us how Booking.com connects to the Concertgebouw Orchestra. “Unforgettable experiences is what it’s all about.”

Since 23 August Dutch digital travel platform Booking.com is collaborating with the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra as global partner (main sponsor). Together with the current global partners, ING and Unilever, Booking.com will support the Concertgebouw Orchestra’s ambition to open up the world of classical music to a wide and diverse audience.
