The Bijlmer Park Theater and the Concertgebouw Orchestra are collaborating in a series of groundbreaking concerts seamlessly blending different musical styles and other disciplines.

The Balkans, Eastern Europe, Turkey – this morning south-eastern Europe comes home to Amsterdam’s Zuidoost borough. Hornist Laurens Woudenberg is showcasing the musical affinities between south-eastern and Western Europe in a sizzling programme sure to appeal to the senses thanks to all the styles of music and dance it offers. With his signature moves, Rutkay Özpinar seamlessly blends hip-hop, breakdance, Turkish folk dance, classical ballet and modern dance.

The Bijlmer Klassiek series is organized in collaboration with the Bijlmer Park Theater.
