On Sunday, 20 November, musicians of the Concertgebouw Orchestra and Jamai Loman will be collaborating a fun and modern concert for children aged 5 to 12. The Children's Concert Raas and the Basket Ball is a musical adventure full of humour and excitement. The performances take place in The Concertgebouw's Recital Hall at 1 p.m. and 3.30 p.m. The composer is Bram Kortekaas, Jibbe Willems write the text, Bart Oomen directs the performance.

Bam!! With a bang, a ball flies through the open doors of the tram. There you are with your wheelchair... No, your racing chair! Raas has to go after it. And that leads to some strange adventures with some crazy characters. Raas makes the acquaintance of the tall heron, the hot-headed coot and the rotten rat…  

But that’s all we’re going to say for now because you have to see this present-day musical adventure story full of humour and excitement for yourself! So come to the Recital Hall on 20 November. And bring your parents or grandparents along because it’s sure to be great fun for them, too!
