Last Saturday, the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra presented a season packed with highlights for a broad audience. The 2026-27 season is characterised by variety and imagination, with a large number of concerts led by future chief conductor Klaus Mäkelä and exciting debuts from new conductors and soloists. Subscriptions are on sale from 31 March.

With a subscription, you can reserve your seats at a discount of up to 20 percent compared to individual tickets. You choose your own seat and have the option to renew annually. Can’t make it to one of the concerts? You can make use of our exchange service or receive a credit. Individual tickets go on sale on 1 June — so a subscription is the best way to secure your place.
We have seven carefully curated subscription series to choose from, ranging from three to twelve concerts. A selection of highlights:
Series A - Alive, adventurous, alluring (Friday evenings) offers new compositions by Magnus Lindberg tand Jörg Widmann as well as works by Mendelsshon, and Saint-Saëns featuring star pianist Lang Lang.
Series B - The great symphonic repertoire (on Wednesday or Thursday evenings) is our oldest and most comprehensive series, with twelve concerts featuring featuring some of the most well-known conductors and soloists. Klaus Mäkelä conducts Berlioz’s Symphonie fantastique, s Mahler’s Seventh Symphony and Beethoven’s Missa solemnis, among other works. Conductors Iván Fischer, Riccardo Chailly and Karina Canellakis will also be at the helm, and soloists include Lisa Batiashvili, Sol Gabetta, Yunchan Lim and Mitsuko Uchida.
Series D – The variation (Thursday and Friday evenings) offers a rich mix: from Bach’s St Matthew Passion to Beethoven’s Violin Concerto featuring Janine Jansen, and with piano concertos ranging from Mozart to Williams.
Series E - The great maestros (Friday evenings) focuses on some of the the finest conductors of our time: Klaus Mäkelä, Iván Fischer, Riccardo Chailly and Vladimir Jurowski each conduct one or more programmes.
Essentials (Friday and Saturday evenings) offer an ideal introduction to symphonic music: compact and accessible concerts strating at 9 p.m. featuring essential masterpieces by such composers as Beethoven, Brahms, Dvořák, and Debussy.
Serie Z – The Sunday Matinee (Sunday afternoons) offers a fine cross-section of the symphonic repertoire, featuring works by Handel, Mozart, Tchaikovsky, Mahler, Ravel, Takemitsu and Adams; we’ll be joined by soloists such as Janine Jansen, Sheku Kanneh-Mason, and Lang Lang.
