After an intensive summer programme, they will be presenting themselves as a youth orchestra at the Amsterdam Concertgebouw and the Konzerthaus Berlin.

Under the direction of Andrés Orozco-Estrada, they will be performing Tsjaikovski’s Romeo and Juliet, the Bruch Violin Concerto featuring violinist María Dueñas, a newly commissioned work by Carlijn Metselaar and Mussorgsky’s Pictures at an Exhibition. After the concerts, the young musicians, like those who participated the first three summers Young was held, will return to their home countries as active ambassadors for classical music.
