Amsterdam, jazz, and the call of the East
Colour, melody, jazz, and the sounds of the East: Maurice Ravel and Theo Loevend...
The Concertgebouw Orchestra is passionate about performing new music. George Benjamin is conducting a beautiful, highly personal programme, and the orchestra is performing works by Betsy Jolas, Thomas Larcher and Theo Loevendie. Conductors Marin Alsop and Gustavo Gimeno are also presenting music by young composers from the US and Canada.
