After 2020, a year in which the orchestra hardly performed at all for a live audience, we are more aware than ever of one thing: we all need one another. Our music is about interaction – interaction between the individual musicians, between the conductor and the orchestra, and between our corporate partners and us.
With unbridled passion, the musicians work hard every day to give concerts of the highest calibre. In order to perform at this level over and over again, these outstanding talents from some twenty-five countries work together as a team. Listening to one another and connecting with the audience are essential in this respect.
The contributions made by the orchestra’s corporate partners directly enhance its national and international stature. Striking a balance between tradition and innovation is crucial if the orchestra is to continue to make music at a global level and for future generations. Indeed, it is thanks to our partners that the orchestra can maintain its leading position in the world. It is for this reason that the Concertgebouworkest is exceedingly grateful to its global and other partners.
The opportunities to collaborate with the Concertgebouworkest are endless. Accordingly, each and every partnership is unique and tailor-made within one of the four layers of our impact circle. The more intense the relationship, the deeper the impact and the closer you get to our own beating musical heart: the Concertgebouworkest itself. This infographic shows the layers making up our impact circle, as well as a number of potential partner benefits.
