Young classical talent at the Uitmarkt

Come and visit our Amsterdam Hall during the Uitmarkt! The Concertgebouw Orchestra is opening its doors to one and all. The orchestra itself is on tour, but its home is offering a platform to young talent. A weekend full of short concerts in an intimate setting. Everyone is welcome and admission is free.

The Uitmarkt and NORMA Cultuurexplosie are presenting a free programme on Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 August in the home of the Concertgebouw Orchestra on Gabriël Metsustraat 16.* Between 12pm and 5pm the Uitmarkt audience can discover young musical talent here in a low threshold environment.

Saterday 27 August

  • 12.00 - Piano duo Scholtes-Janssens, piano
  • 13.00 - Djuwa Mroivili, piano
  • 14.00 - Stichting Apollo, piano and violin
  • 15.00 - Stichting Brooomm!, saxophone quartet
  • 16.00 - Dywel Braaf, piano

Sunday 28 August

  • 12.00 - De Perforator, experimental ensemble
  • 13.00 - Stichting KNARSHedendaags, flute duo 
  • 14.00 - Daniel Bolba, percussion and en violin
  • 15.00 - Channa Malkin, soprano
  • 16.00 - Shauntell Baumgard, violin
Each concert is about 20-30 minutes.
No need to register or reserve seats.

* Please note:
The location is on Gabriël Metsustraat 16, facing the Museumplein. Not to be confused with The Concertgebouw.
